The Discovery
The power of the healing touch...it all began with the discovery of my hot hands. Let me tell you how it happened.
When life reveals to you certain things, sometimes it hits you like a bolt of lightning. Around two and a half years ago, Dayzeebee and I were in a prayer meeting. She turned to look at me and gave me a strange look. My eyes questioned back, “What?”
When we got the chance to talk, she asked if she could hold my hand. I frowned some more thinking, “Hold my hand? Is this girl going crazy on me?”
Sensing my hesitation, she reassured me. “Don’t worry. I’m just checking something.”
“What?!” I asked again, curious as to where this was leading.
Are you willing?
She refused to tell me anything except that she needed me to do something again the following day. “I’m not yet sure.” She grinned. “But I want to do an experiment. Are you willing to do it?”
Well, it was futile to make her talk so in the name of curiosity I succumbed to the so-called experiment. Tying a crystal to a string, she made me open my palm. She then positioned the crystal an inch above my palm while resting her elbow on a table to make sure it was stable. “Okay, now I want you to focus. Make the crystal move.”
I couldn’t help it. It was too much. This time I laughed out loud and long. I was becoming stubborn. I wasn’t going to do this experiment until she explained to me what this was all about. Sighing, she finally gave in.
I learned that Daisy had a gift. She could actually “sense” people, what they were feeling and even thinking. She mostly uses the gift during trainings when she needs to help people understand themselves.
I learned that we are all made up energy. And during that prayer meeting, she explained why she turned to look at me. “Your energy was so strong; I felt that I was being pushed. That’s why I asked you if I could hold your hand so I could feel the energy. I was right. You have hot hands!”

"Hot hands? Geez..." I was baffled. “So what does this all mean?”
“Well, I believe you might have a healing gift. I don’t know but since yesterday, this thought wouldn’t leave my mind.”
“A healing gift?” I exclaimed with dismay. “Oh no! This means I’m not going to get married!”
It was Daisy’s turn to laugh long and loud. “This doesn’t have to do anything with getting married.”
“My mom will kill me!” I moaned some more. All sorts of thoughts came wildly into my mind and I was panicking inside. So I suddenly declared out loud. “I don’t want it. You can have it.”
Daisy laughed some more. “Stop being so silly! C’mon, why don’t you try this experiment? Focus and make the crystal move.”
I grudgingly went along with the experiment. A mixture of emotions coursed through me as I saw the crystal move! She then told me to make the crystal move in circles. And the crystal moved in a circular motion. Daisy was ecstatic. “I told you, you have a gift.” I found myself intrigued despite myself. She ordered me to make it stop. And yes, the crystal stopped moving.

I left her house that day, mystified, bewildered, perhaps a little lost as I looked at my hot hands. Or was I? Maybe I had just lost part of my old self to find something new within me. Thus, my healing journey had begun. I had the healing touch.
There was no turning back.

hello ripplemaker. i could not help but laugh while reading this hub. i could still hear you cry out those words..."oh no....i won't get married?!" you are really endearing in your child like nature. i am also very proud of you for finally sharing your journey to discovering this gift. this only goes to show that you are now more at peace with the idea that you are special indeed. hmmm at peace too with the idea that you may not get married?! hahahahaha. i love you dearly. soar high now that you have taken flight! I can't wait for part two! I loved reading your endearing journey to self-discovery. Some people are truly blessed with such gifts and go through life never knowing. You're lucky to have had Daisy there to show you the way. Just imagine all the wonderful things you can do, once you tap into this powerful energy.

Well, Well, Well, hehehe....Looking at the blank page of this healing thing and finding yourself at a loss of words has finally come to fruition and I knew it would. I know what it's like to stare at a blank sheet of paper and when I read those words from you just 2 days ago I began watching for this hub because I knew it was on its way! My dear Michelle, I will never forget the day (9 months ago) when you asked me how open I was to receive your distant healing. I told you back then I was a little skeptical about it but I felt your healing power just the same. And I also remember you telling me you had to write a hub about healing, now I´m glad you finally done that and I´m looking forward to read the second part.
I want to honestly thank you for your help, it really was/is a great help (I mean that) and I´m sure you have helped many others in the mean while. Good hub, Ripple. I think Dayzee Bee is a trip. I'll bet she's fun to hang with, eh? I first learned about the energy humans have and our ability to manipulate it in my hippie days. Then later, while studying religions, when I studied Wicca. The "magick" Wiccans wield is the manipulation of energy. All the rituals and other stuff is just to get them in the right frame of mind. You wouldn't need any of that stuff.

Well I am glad to have read your hub. I can say your journey has just began and you have a number of experiences to experience. Just remember never to get carried away with it. always use it for good.
You have to keep a close connection with the Holy Spirit and ask him to direct your path or you could be drawn into something deeper and problematic There are many demonic forces that are happy to come across individual with your high energy level.
In the process of healing others you too can get ill so you must learn how to encircle yourself with the a protective energy your friend dazeebee will instruct you how.

My hands get soo...hot yet I do not sweat I can't stand to touch my self,yet when I touch someone who has a sore arm or scholder,neck,their pain stopes and my hands cool down.Could this be a sign of healing Hands?

My sister is a nurse and while her hands are not hot, you can literally feel the energy that flows from them. Since we are all made up of energy it does make sense that within our gifts there would be more energy present. Thanks for sharing your journey!

I just received my 1st attunement in Reiki on Sunday and since then, my hands are hot most of the time. I've always had very cold hands. It's a very nice side affect. I can't wait to start practicing!

Uhhh...Hi Ripplemaker. I was reading your story there(sorry my english is a little bad)and Yeah it got me wondering.one day I went to my Friend's house to talk and some do some other stuff but I kept thinking hwne I read this. The Reason why that I was thinking about it is because:I had... a LOT of passion in my hands. it may sound weird but my hands are really warm(sometimes hot) and sweaty.Not actually my hands I meant like my Palms. and whenever I hold something or make a fist its getting really warm and sweaty. So I was wondering do you think I have a healing touch? (Whenever I massage my Aunt or Mom They say My Massaging is really Good.Even compared to her Massaging machine I was better. So I was thinking a LOT now so can you please reply back?Thx.)^w^
yes, i have hot hands and yes i can move crystals... even pencils and other objects... it goes in circles then goes back and forth.

Thanks alot for sharing your feelings. Someone just told me that I have a gift that is a healing power. Its strange and kindda funny for me to hear such things when I know that I am alwaz embarrassed of having a sweaty hand and having my hand feel so out of balance. Thats why as soon as I am done with the lady doctor who was so sure about my healing hand I am here googling about it and trying to find out what da f* is that? Lol! I still don't know how will my stupid hand will help others. But still it makes me feel good that I am not the only person who is shock at the 1st time. ;)

Yes some people have strong aura/higher energy levels (This is used a lot in Reiki/Pranic Healing). Good Hub.
